With locations in Venice, Silver Lake, and West Hollywood, NIGHT + MARKET is the go-to Thai spot for many Angelenos. Chef Kris Yenbamroong is the creative force behind the popular restaurants, who grew up working in his family’s restaurant, Talesai, the first mainstream Thai restaurant in LA and the first to cater to a celebrity clientele. NIGHT + MARKET’S menu features unique dishes like the crispy rice salad and pork toro, which are both inventive and bursting with flavor. The lively atmosphere can best be described as Bangkok frenzy meets California chill. No reservations allowed, so plan accordingly!

Since 2013, Sticky Rice has brought an authentic street-food vibe to Echo Park, with a menu that features standout dishes like the Khao Soi and Beef Panang curry. This spot is a favorite for those seeking traditional Thai flavors in a laid-back setting, plus they’ve got a sweet little cocktail bar in the back, Spirit House. With so many Thai spots in Thai Town, it can be overwhelming to choose just one! Thai Patio’s one of our faves. Like the name implies, plenty of outdoor seating here, so you can enjoy your papaya salad or Drunken Noodles al fresco. A block from the Hollywood / Western Metro Station, Thai Patio’s as convenient as it is delicious.

Sometimes smaller is better. With two locations in DTLA and Atwater Village (new!), Holy Basil impresses with its array of authentic Thai dishes, including the crowd-favorite Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Self-appointed as “Your Neighborhood Bangkok Street Food Window,” this joint has an intimate atmosphere and quick service, making it a popular choice for lunchtime crowds looking for a flavorful, spicy meal in a hurry.

Thai Eagle Rox really rocks. Their menu is well-loved for curry dishes as well as Mango Sticky Rice, which are both flavorful and authentically prepared. It's a great spot for those looking for a no-frills approach to genuine Thai cooking.

Saladang began in 1993 with a simple wish from the heart of its founder, Dang Vattanatham, a Thai woman who wanted others to enjoy the cuisine so near and dear to her. She cleverly combined her name with the word sala, which means "meeting place." The restaurant is celebrated for its Pad See Ew and Tom Yum Noodle Soup, providing a perfect blend of heat and flavor that keeps patrons coming back. The modern, industrial space complements the fresh, vibrant dishes served.
